Looking at the simple definition of surrogacy, it is where a woman agrees to carry via pregnancy and deliver a baby for another family. But the true role of a surrogate goes much deeper than the simple dictionary definition.

Surrogates are mothers to their own children, and the caretaker and protector of another parent’s baby. The way we see it, being a surrogate is the ultimate embodiment of motherhood and female empowerment. Surrogates knowingly and willingly lend their bodies and natural high fertility to another family, so that they can see their own parenting dreams come true.

Surrogates deliver the ultimate gift of a baby and reveal how deeply we can love as women. Being that surrogates are always mothers themselves, they understand the deep desire to be a parent. To give and receive the unconditional love of a child is one of the essential foundations of humanity. At its core, surrogacy is truly made of love.
